Covid-19 Information

How we’re operating in the COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System).

What the traffic light system means for us

Fox Glacier Guiding is getting ready for summer and we want everyone to feel safe while visiting us.

The New Zealand Government has announced that on 3 December 2021, the country will move into its COVID-19 Protection Framework, or the traffic light system. Under this framework, we can remain OPEN at each traffic light setting by following these extra safety measures.

All visitors to Fox Glacier Guiding MUST:

  1. Sanitise their hands upon arrival.
  2. Wear a mask in all indoor areas – including reception, our gift shop, our boot room, bus transport, and inside the helicopter (if using).
  3. Comply with any additional public health measures (including social distancing) that are in place at the time of your visit.

We’re serious about protecting everyone and that means that all of our staff are vaccinated too.

We look forward to seeing you in Fox Glacier!

We're OPEN at every setting
